Onkyo has announced the MHP-UW1 a wireless headphone system made up of headphones and a USB transmitter. You connect the USB transmitter to your PC's USB port and it operates as a bus-powered USB audio device. Audio is transmitted from the USB transmitter to the headphones via the 2.4GHz band.

Sales of the "MHP-UW1" 2.4GHz USB wireless headphones start late November - 10,000 yen.

Ultimate Ears has unveiled the UE-10 Pro ear monitors - The first earpiece to have a 20Hz to 16k (+ or - 3db) truly useable frequency response.

The new high frequency driver has extended frequency response out to 16k with no EQ. According to Ultimate Ears sonically the UE-10 Pro ear monitors are the most accurate earpiece available.

One can assume with all the press the iPod Photo received over the past two days that Gateway is fuming that their new MP3 Photo Jukebox was not released a few days earlier.

The MP3 Photo Jukebox is 4GB hard disk-based player with a 1.6-inch color display (resolution 128 by 128 pixels). The audio end of the player supports MP3, WMV, and AAC playback, including support for Microsoft's PlayForSure DRM and the "Janus" DRM. The photo end of the player, includes USB Host functionality, allows you to connect your digital camera directly to the device and places the images on the Jukebox hard drive. - Apple iTunes not supported that is a given.
8 hour battery life 8 hours(3hr charge time) compared to the 15 hours battery life of the photo iPod. Measures 3.8 x 2.3 x 0.7 inches and Weighs 3.4 ounces.
