Cowon's iAudio U5 is set for launch in the USA.
The iAudio U5 features a voice microphone , FM radio tuner with scheduled recording , fully customizable audio equalizers, 1.8-inch screen , supports MP3, WAV, and WMA (including protected store WMA) audio and lasts 24 hours between charges.

Ahead of Ces 2008, Xias has taken the wraps off a number of new products - two digital photo frames, two cameras, USB memory sticks, and an MP3 player reports electronista. The PF-821WF is an eight inch digital frame, PF-1021WF is 10-inches ; both models feature a display resolution of 800 by 600. Up to 12 images can be displayed simultaneously. Seven digital media formats are supported, which can be uploaded to the frames from either of the two bult-in memory card slots. Four different play modes are supported - full-screen browse, slideshow, thumbnail browse, and zoom in/out - while viewing time can be adjusted in both browse and slideshow modes.

Pacemaker is a 120GB portable music player that functions like a portable DJ mixing table reports Crave. Pacemaker plays two tracks at once and lets you crossfade between them, plus play with effects like looping and pitch bending.
Pacemaker also include a software application, the Pacemaker Editor, that functions like a traditional music player and library manager only with support for creating mixes.

Korean based Mobiblu has unveiled Nanum, a concept for a screenless media player. The unit unfolds to a cross shape, and features 1GB of storage, USB 2.0 connectivity, pop-out buttons, dimensions of just 1.1 inches a side, and support for MP3, WMA, and WAV.
