SE PXi concept


Designer Bence Bogar is showing off a concept for SE PXi concept, a camera specifically created for left handusers.


Features include a 3.3 inch touchscreen, screen rotates automatically and is optimized for both finger and stylus input. The right side of the unit houses a jogdial and a secondary touchscreen which adapts to whatever app is currently open. The smartphone also sports not 1 but 2 card slots . The PXi is equipped with stereo speakers and a Cybershot class 5 megapixel camera.

The Terrafugia Transition flying car vehicle could launch by end of 2008 says its developers.

This summer, they demonstrated the aircraft's automated folding wing, one of the biggest challenges to the design, and it worked perfectly, opening and closing over 500 times without incident. Says Terrafugia chief operating officer Anna Dietrich, "We're building the rest of the first vehicle now. Our schedule calls for us to start flight testing by the end of 2008, and so far we're on track for that."

Designer Mukai Shen is showing off the concept for eWallet, a shopper’s companion integrating WIFI and RFID technologies to connect to people and objects.

The clamshell style device gives you the ability to window shop, customize details like color and fit, and even includes a built-in simulator. eWallet lets you make purchases direct from its interface.

At CEATEC 2007, Japan - JVC showcased their "handclap & gesture recognition TV"


The TV collects the sound of handclaps using a microphone and distinguishes commands based on the timing and number of handclaps.

The SaY phone's body is totally rubberized in a bright color. The keypad is slightly angled for better ergonomics.

This design revolves around the charger unit. The opening in the middle fulfills two functions: storing the phone and charging it.
