EDIFIER M3, M1 speaker sets

Chinese/Taiwanese manufacturer EDIFIER has announced 2 sleek speaker sets for your PC - the M3, a 2.1 2x2.5W kit. The speakers measure 56x56x63mm and the 9W bass box measures 260x55x84mm for a total weight of 740g, and the M1, a set powered by USB that gives 2x3W, measures 200x25x70mm and weighs 550g.

Sony VAIO TX

Sony has announced the VAIO TX, a new feather-weight PC that combines no-nonsense business functionality and a fashion-forward physique. The VAIO TX notebook packs wireless WAN connectivity, entertainment playback and a white LED display into a slick carbon fiber casing that weighs no more than three pounds.

Sony VAIO TX notebooks will be widely available this month in charcoal without WWAN starting at about $2,250 and next month with WWAN for about $2,300.

Sony Europe has announced the VAIO FJ-Series notebook. Features include a tiny digital camera discreetly set into the screen surround that can turn each FJ-Series notebook into a video phone, a 14.1-inch widescreen Sony X-black LCD display (1280 x 768) resolution, multiformat Double Layer DVD+ /- RW drive standard, powered by the 1.73GHz Intel Pentium M processor 740, 80GB SATA hard disk and 512MB or 1GB (model VGN-FJ1Z/W) of 400MHz DDR2 memory.

The Sharp M 4000 features an Intel Pentium M Processor 740 (1.73 GHz with 2MB of Level 2 cache) , a 13.3-inch WXGA wide-screen LCD, 6 hours of battery life, a built-in optical drive (CD-RW/DVD-ROM), Secure Digital (SD) memory card support, a Type II PC Card slot (PCMCIA) and 2 USB 2.0 connections, as well as a V.92 modem and an Ethernet jack. Sony Japan, has released the VGP-WMS50, a new "PowerPoint" presentation mouse for their Vaio line of computer peripherals. The PowerPoint is a 4-button, 2.4GHz wireless mouse with an 800-DPI resolution. The mouse also incorporates fluorocarbon resin feet to reduce friction on the desk. via
