Toshiba G20

Toshiba, Japan has announced their latest Qosmio PC's, the G20 and F20. The high-end G20 features a 17" (1440x900) screen with a 480cd brightness rate, a Pentium M 750 (1.8GHz - 2 Mb cache, 533 MHz frontal bus), 2Gb of RAM, 200Gb HDD (2x100), Bluetooth v2, a GeForce Go 6200 TC, DVd burner, Wireless a/b/g and the TV tuner has a hardware Mpeg2 encoder to record your TV shows.

Sony Japan has announced the "VAIO type H" and the "VAIO type M" desktop PCs, set for launch from September 10th.

The 'VAIO type M' features a 1,280x800 dot resolution 15.4" wide liquid crystal, somatotype keyboard in orange Passion orange , the superior model "VGC-M53B/W" features a TV tuner, Celeron 2.80GHz and SiS 661FX chip set (video functional built-in), memory 512MB and 250GB HDD, +R DL DVD super multiple drive.


The VAIO type H features include a FeliCa reader, superior model "VGC-H71B2R" features a Pentium D 820 (2.8GHz) processor, 1,680x1,050 dot (WSXGA+) resolution 20" wide clearing black liquid crystal display, P-in-P (Picture-in-Picture) or P-out-P (Picture-out-Picture) , 512MB Memory, Intel 945G Express chip set (video functional built-in), 300GB HDD, and double TV tuner

Sony, Japan has announced the Vaio V, a new PC/TV combo system with a 20" screen. Features include a Pentium 4 630 (3Ghz) processor, a 256Mb ATI RADEON XPRESS 700, 1Gb of RAM, DL/RAM DVD multi-burner, 500Gb HDD (2x250) and a Digital Motion Reality TV Tuner. Price 3000 EUR.

Sony Vaio T

Sony Japan, has announced the Vaio T, set for launch on September 10th. The Sony Vaio T is 21mm thick (272.4x195.1x21mm) and weighs only 1.25kg. Features a screen with a Backlight LED, 1366x768 screen resolution, a 915GMS chipset for the graphics card, 512Mb of RAM (max 1.5Gb), a Celeron 1Ghz or a Pentium M 753 at 1.2Ghz CPU, 40 to 60Gb HDD space, a DL DVD burner and Wireless LAN and Bluetooth. It will also have a MS/SD/MMC port.

Sony Electronics today unveiled the latest edition to its line of VAIO Professional notebooks, the new VAIO BX Series . The VAIO BX Series of notebooks features Sony's AdaptivePlus technology, incorporating flexibility, security and communications features for progressive, cost-effective IT resource management, available with a variety of display sizes - 14-inch, 15.4 and 17-inch wide screen sizes , Sony's multi-function bay , Users can swap out powerful peripherals, such as a DVD +/-RW, +R double layer drive (not all DVD media/formats are universally compatible) or an 80GB hard drive bay unit, an integrated biometric fingerprint sensor, , WWAN access to Cingular's nationwide EDGE network for connection to the Internet just about anywhere there is Cingular cellular coverage, equipped with Sony's SmartWi technology, the BX Series allows users to easily toggle between various connectivity options including WWAN, WLAN for connections at home, office or hotspots (requires compatible access points); or Bluetooth technology for communication with Bluetooth-enabled peripherals such as a PDA, cellular phone or wireless headset, Outfitted with an optional built-in camera and pre-loaded with Sony's Instant Video Everywhere or IVE service powered by GlowPoint, the BX Series is ready for instant real-time video conferencing (service subscription and broadband required).

Samsung has announced the M70, a new laptop featuring a 19 inch LCD. The M70 will be equipped with the newest mobile high speed CPU and high end graphics chip from Nvidia. The 1680 x 1050 TFT display has a response time of only 10 milliseconds and a contrast of 600:1.

Fujitsu, Japan has announced new updates to their PC LOOX collection. The new models, T70M and MT will replace the T75L and LT.
