SONY Pentium D "VAIO type R"

Sony, Japan has announced two models of the "VAIO type R" desktop PC with Intel's Pentium D and the Intel 945P Express chip set. The new models will be available in Japan from June 11th. The superior model, "VGC-RA73PL9" features Pentium D 830 (3GHz), HDD 500GB (250GBx2), GeForce 6600, DVD super multiple drive, DVD-ROM drive, Windows XP Professional and a 19" clear black liquid crystal with 1,280x1,024 dot (SXGA) resolution. Expected price 350,000 Yen.

Nokia 770 Internet Tablet


Today Nokia introduced its first device in the new Internet Tablet category, the Nokia 770 Internet Tablet, at the LinuxWorld Summit in New York. The Nokia 770 Internet Tablet is a dedicated device optimized for convenient Internet browsing and email communications in a sleek pocketsize format. The Nokia 770 Internet Tablet features an impressive high-resolution (800x480) widescreen display with zoom and on-screen keyboard, ideal for viewing online content over Wi-Fi. Aside from Wi-Fi, the device can also connect to the Internet utilizing Bluetooth wireless technology via a compatible mobile phone.

L2000 notebook

HP has announced the L2000 notebook, in racing bike black, with the phrase LiveStrong emblazoned in yellow on the front, and Lance Armstrong's signature etched inside on the right palm rest reports ABCnews. HP joins AMD and the Lance Armstrong Foundation to promote LiveStrong, with the hope that consumers will join in the fight against cancer.

Sony VAIO VGN-T350P

Like other T series models, the Sony Vaio T350P is small and stylish. At 10.7 x 8.1 x 1.3 inches, it's compact enough to slip into a briefcase, yet has enough room for a dual layer DVD burner on the right side. The color of the lid is an executive-chic midnight blue, and Sony offers two other color options (burgundy and silver) online. To the right of the 10.6-inch widescreen you'll find the antenna for the EDGE connection, which sits flush with the system.

Tuesday, Sony announced the VGN-T350, new Vaio laptop featuring a variety of wireless options. The T350 features 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth, and built in technology to connect to Cingular's GPRS/EDGE high-speed data network or integrated WWAN .

Owners of the T Series can use Wi-Fi when a hot spot is nearby, Or they can use the machine's internal WAN capabilities and connect virtually anyplace where there's cellular coverage provided by Sony partner Cingular
