Asus V6800V

Asus has announced the V6800V notebook touted as the world's thinnest and lightest 15 inch laptop. It measures 0.9 inches thick and weighs 2Kg.

The Sonoma based V6800V supports such DDR2 RAM, PCI Express and SATA hard drives.

The fully customizable spec will feature processors beginning at 1.73GHz and hard drives at 60GB. trustedreviews

Toshiba Qosmio G20 laptop

Toshiba, Japan, has announced Qosmio G20, a new sleek desktop-replacement laptop. Features include a 17-inch WXGA screen -- resolution of 1440x900, a 128MB Geforce 6600 graphics card, 1.86Ghz or 1.73GHz Pentium M CPU, a 160GB or 200GB SATA HDD, and 512MB of RAM standard on both models. The Qosmio also features with an integrated TV tuner, along with a remote. The Qosmio G20, will be available late March. Expected price 360,000 Yen for superior model

E-Go design notebook

Panasonic has announced the first rugged notebook based on Intel's new Sonoma mobile platform. The Toughbook CF-73 is housed in a rugged magnesium-alloy case and contain shock-and-vibration resistant hard drive. Features a shock-and-intrusion hardened 13.3-inch daylight readable, anti-reflective, transmissive touchscreen at 1024x768 resolution.
