Sharp Japan has announced the DV-ARV22, a new 3 in Recorder featuring a 250 GB hard drive, VHS recorder and CD / DVD recorder. It has a HDMI output terminal for excellent digital audio/video quality. High speed dubbing is also possible between the three sources. It is very easy to use a large orange light on the front panel indicates the unit is recording and a blue light indicates playback. It also includes an Ethernet port and a Firewire (i-Link port). It comes with a fully functional 48 key remote control.

Pioneer Japan has announced the AS-PS55 , a new set for waterproof speakers made of plastic. The AS-PS55 connects to the Audio player via 35mm stereo jack and has a output of 0.325W and 8Ω. They are powered by 4 AAA batteries they measure 210 × 85 × 212mm and weigh 365 grams.

Years ago, when I made weekly trips from Washington, DC, to New York ... during my you should be a model years, Web TV was a life saver for those late nights after hours of Nos. I would cozy up under the cheap & tattered hotel rags for some online surfing. (my attempt at writing with adjectives)
Web TV has come long way since those days, and while I swimming in ways to stay connected, I jumped at the idea to review the MSN TV 2 Internet and Media Player, which in a nut shell is Web TV take two (Microsoft purchased Web TV 1997 and renamed it MSN TV a few years later). I was pleasantly surprised at how streamlined the player looks & the ease of use.

Linksys, has announced the KiSS DP-600, a new DVD player with the ability to playback Windows Media Video in High Definition.
The KiSS networkable player is equipped with a built-in WLAN 802.11g connection for cable-free access to an online EPG, a selection of 3000 radio stations, and various other online features on the Internet or content on the home PC.
