Sony Electronics has announced two new sets to the WEGA line based on the Silicon X-tal (Crystal) Reflective Display (SXRD) technology delivering full 1920 x 1080 high-definition resolution.


The 1080p (progressive) KDS-R60XBR1 and KDS-R50XBR1 Grand WEGA models compliment two existing SXRD products -- the 70-inch QUALIA 006 micro-display and the QUALIA 004 front projector.

Resonator Neuronium

Music synth designer Jurgen Michaelis has released the 2499 Euro Resonator Neuronium. The primary programming interface is a series of six touch-sensitive rotary controllers that allow you to build complex summing and FM networks. Neurons can self-resonate, and the unit features two external audio inputs that can be used to excite the network. Neuron envelopes can be triggered by MIDI, and the output from the six nodes can be mixed down to familiar stereo outputs.
