The PD-150, priced at 136,500 Yen is available now, the "175AP" will be available late May, price 18,900 Yen. Pioneer Corporation, Japan has announced the "DVD-RT7H," a new VHS hybrid recorder "set for release in June. Expected price 85,000 Yen.

The 3in1 recorder features a 200GB HDD, DVD-R/RW and a VHS video deck. Other features include ability to dub from VHS to DVD with the push of one button, video recording modes XP/SP/LP/EP/SLP/SEP and XP+ with approximately 15Mbps ( for HDD only), Measures 430x362x91mm and weighs 6.0kg. More

Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. ( Panasonic) has announced the "NV-VP33" DVD/VCR player set for release in Japan on June 1st. Expected price 25,000 Yen. Allowing simultaneous record and playback facility, this player also allows multi format playback and 12 hours recording and playback.

The NV-VP33 has Nicam stereo to produce a great sound, and Crystal view control to help provide a clear picture. More







Bose WAVE music system

Bose, UK, has released the Bose WAVE music system, which functions as a combined CD player and radio. The system uses two 2.5 inch speakers, and a "unique dual tapered wave guide structure that features two 26-inch wave guides with a common output." The device also supports MP3 CDs. RRP of 449 Euro. Models features brightness of 500cd/m squared, a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, and record shows using LINUX-powered DVR software. More

Sony NAS-CZ1

Sony Europe has announced the NAS-CZ1, a new Network Audio System (NAS) for streaming music stored on a home PC. Features include Multi-room capability, connects via LAN cable to the network, for wireless access an Ethernet bridge is necessary. The NAS-CZ1 allows automatic connection to a wide range of music jukebox software (including Musicmatch, Windows Media Player, iTunes, and SonicStage4 via the supplied software M-crew . The NAS-CZ1 is compatible with MP3, WAV, OMG, WMA and AAC. It is DLNA (Digital Living Network Alliance) compliant.
