Toshiba JP, has announced the 37LC100, the 32LC100, the 26LC100 and the 23LC100 Face series high definition televisions. All models feature Terrestrial analog, CATV, terrestrial BS 110 degree CS digital tuner, liquid crystal panel 1,366x 768 dot resolution, 500cd/m2 brightness and 64 bit TSPU. The 37, 32, and 23 inch models feature a viewing angle along horizontal and vertical lines of 176 degrees , 26 inch model - 170 degrees.

JVC 23" LT-23LA6, 20" LT-20LA6 and 17" LT-17LA6 liquid crystal televisions

Nippon Victor Corporation (JVC) has announced the 23" LT-23LA6, the 20" LT-20LA6 and the 17" LT-17LA6 liquid crystal televisions from the "liquid crystal EXE" series. The 160,000 Yen 23" and 90,000 Yen 17" models featuring 15:9 wide panels with 1,280x768 dot resolution will be available in late February, while the 110,000 Yen 20" model featuring 4:3 format with 640x480 dot resolution will be available in March. The 23" and 17" models both feature a visibility angle up and down - left and right of 176 degrees, the 23" LT-23LA6 features 500cd/m2 brightness while the 17" LT-17LA6 features 450cd/m2 brightness. The 20" LT-20LA6 features a visibility angle up and down -- left and right of 176 degrees and 450cd/m2 brightness.

The 23" model measures 619x225x498mm and weighs 11.4kg, the 17" model measures 465x190x363mm and weighs 7.3kg and the 20" model measures 541x225x477mm and weighs 10.2kg.

Sony 17" SDM-HS75P , 19" SDM-HS95P liquid crystal displays

Sony Japan has announced the 17" SDM-HS75P and the 19" SDM-HS95P liquid crystal displays featuring high-speed response time/high contrast ratio. Models will be available in Japan from February 5th, the 17" model available in black and silver is expected to cost 60,000 Yen and the 19" model available in black will be priced at 90,000 yen. The 17 SDM-HS75P features a 8ms response time and 600:1 contrast ratio while the 19" SDM-HS95P features a 12 ms response time and 1,000:1 contrast ratio. Both models adopt the new design all "rising design."

The 19" model features 1,677 000 thousand colors, 450cd/m2 brightness, visibility angle up and down - left and right 170 degrees and 1,280x1,024 dot resolution. The 17" model features 1,620 000 thousand colors, 420cd/m2 brightness, visibility angle 160 degrees and 1,280x1,024 dot resolution.

The 19 "SDM-HS95P measures approximately 435x146x418mm and weighs 6kg, the 17" SDM-HS75P measures approximately 388x139.2x382.5mm and weighs 5kg.

KiSS LCD- and High definition Plasma-TVs with WLAN connections

KiSS Technology has announced the launch of a new range of LCD- and High definition Plasma-TVs with WLAN connections and support for multiple digital formats including Windows Media HD. The new TV-sets from KiSS Technology features include Wireless or wired Ethernet connections support, Digital TV-tuners, supports multiple digital formats such as Microsoft Windows Media in both standard definition (SD) and high definition (HD), DivX SD/HD and Nero Digital SD/HD, a built-in DVD-player, TV-tuner, surround amplifier and high-quality audio speakers.

The KiSS 42" High Defintion Plasma-TV supports WMV9, DivX and Nero Digital in both SD and HD and are equipped with a 80GB hard disk. The new range of TVs alson includes a 17" LCD-TV named KiSS Coolview 17, a 26" LCD-TV named KiSS Coolview 26 and a 32" LCD-TV named KiSS Coolview 32. The complete range will be available during 2005.
