The Nintendo DS commercial with Wild Boyz Star Steve-O made the news last night, The clips features Steve-O in Africa playing the DS - you know trying to convey the concept of the DS can be played anywhere, while Steve-O was pretending to play the DS, a lion crawled up the tree & got a feel off of Steve-O's goodies. JVC DLA-HD2K HD Projector

JVC DLA-HD2K announced in April will be available Nov 1st for for about 16000 UK money. The DLA-HD2K has a 1920 x 1080 resolution which matches the resolution of HD broadcasts and recordings, and allows them to be viewed in the highest quality with original picture detail. JVC's exclusive D-ILA chip technology is used in the DLA-HD2K. the D-ILA chips use an advanced form of Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCOS) and are capable of greater pixel density.

DV-DH160T

Hitachi has announced the entry level "DV-DH160T" their new hi-vision HDD/DVD recorder "Wooo" series with a 160GB HDD & built in terrestrial BS 110 degree CS digital tuner. The latter fact makes recording of digital broadcasts via hi-vision video to the HDD possible.

This new model is much like the Hitachi DV-DH250 with the exception of the HDD space (DH250 has 250GB). Other Features include DVD multiple drive (video recording/playback). When using hi-vision picture quality video recording you get about 16 hours, regular video recording gives about 220 hours using EP mode on the DV-DH160T .

Measures 430 x 330 x 68mm & weighs approximately 5.4kg.
The DV-DH160T will be available early November in Japan .
