Philips has released the SA1200 DAP , a new portable audio player reports
NewLaunches.
The SA1200 is powered by a AAA battery, includes a tiny LCD screen, can play back MP3, WMA and WAV and record audio with an integrated mic. It is available now at some places for $65 or so and comes in 512MB and 1GB flavors

Nicholas Negroponte's latest prototypes of the $100 PC will sell for about $130 to $140 reports ZDnet. The ruggedized, two pound Linux desktop (Fedora) system, due April 2007 will come down in price by the end of 2008.
The colorful system can turn into a tablet, and Negroponte said that it "will run like a bat out of hell." Pricing depends on how much RAM, but key is the display, he added. "It has to be sunlight readable. That won't be done until August/September."
