Samsung will launch G400 Soul , a new handset. at Cebit. Samsung's G400 Soul clamshell features interactive touchpad on the front cover of the device with full interactive 2.22″ touchscreen display, built-in FM Radio, music player, camera and photo album.

Gossips have uncovered a new Samsung patent application for a media mobile phone with a self-cradling function.
The design shows an angled hinge in the middle of the candy-bar style phone which allows it to rotate and provide an angled display on top and an input pad on the bottom for some type of multimedia and/or gaming functionality.

Samsung Electronics is set to launch the AM OLED handsets '820SC' and '821SC' in Japan with Softbank. Both support 1-seg and international roaming service.
The 820SC offers ten hours of 1-seg recording via 2GB micro SD card. Other features included 1.96M camera with auto-focus function , Bluetooth connectivity and 2.6-inch AM OLED display with QVGA resolution

Samsung is set to launch two bacteria-killing airconditioners, using Samsung's proprietary Micro Plasma Ion (MPI) technology in Asia.
The Vivace Shadow Mirror (photo) and Neo-Forte are capable of effectively eliminating 78 percent of fungus and 58 percent of bacteria in a 30-minute time frame, within an enclosed environment.
Vivace now available in Singapore for S$799 to S$899 (with condenser, but no installation), and Neo-Forte will see April launch.

Samsung, Korea has announced the Samsung SCH-W350 a new high-end phone, also known as the SPH-W3500. The clamshell device supports f 7.2Mbps HSDPA,, its GSM/WCDMA receiver allows global roaming, MP3 playback, a three-megapixel camera, and Bluetooth 2.0; memory, expandable through an external slot. The phone should be available in red or pearl colors for prices between 600,000 and 700,000 won ($635-741).

Samsung has announced GX-20, a new digital SLR. The Samsung GX-20 uses a Samsung-made 14.6-megapixel sensor, arrives in March for $1,400 (body only). Features include "enhanced digital filter," which will "compensate for missing pixels after taking a picture."
