The Philippe Starck designed VIOlight is a small and sleek toothbrush sanitization system. Independent tests has shown the VIOlight gets rid of up to 99.9% of bacteria living on your toothbrush. VIOlight uses a germicidal UV bulb - the same technology used in hospitals - to kill germs. You simply brush, rinse, place your toothbrush in the cup-sized holder and, with the push of a button, the sanitizer starts to kill. The VIOlight germicidal UV bulb is rated to last over 2000 hours -- $49.95.

SorobanGeeks reports on the Sharp Dual Display Cash Register, a high tech version of what is currently seen in some of the fast food restaurants which displays additional selections to go with your order, so you could send more money, this version has the same purpose, while your bill is being totaled, instead of trying to look over to make sure the cashier is not trying any funny business, you can watch ads, which just might jog your memory to get those pants you have been thinking about.

So your doctor tells you -- hey stay off the donuts, like a responsible person you are able to hold off for a day, but your craving overwhelms you on day two, instead of a donut you go for a twinkie -- all about compromise -- right. If you find yourself in this position or just like starving yourself -- umm being healthy the new Diet Aid Watch by PINA can give a quick reminder of the pains of eating certain things. It works like this, you wear this horrid piece around your neck (Aid), as you are about to put the food in your mouth (within ten inches), it lets you know if to eat or not by emitting a series of gentle vibrations. I am sure that would work. The Diet Aid watch is still in development but on launch it should be able to calculate carbohydrate, calorie, sodium, cholesterol and bacterial contents in food. I am a little puzzled as to how a sensor can detect physical make up of food without a sample, but hey if it can do all that great.

Zigabee allows for wireless monitoring so you will be able to maintain your very seamless no wires apartment deal. The Heartbeat is made up of a base station, a network of detection sensors and a home key. you place the sensors around your space to monitor different elements like water, etc., no need to come to a flood, the base station monitors all the sensors, and sends status updates to the Home Key.Once you are within 90 feet of the base station, you can get a simple glimpse of the status of the devices around your house on the home key. You can also receive updates of intrusion via a SMS message. Pucci in danger, get home now. I am not sure what you would do at that point but you will know.
