The vectroTEL X8 is a new handset focused on keeping your sensitive phone calls confidential.
The high level of security is warranted by the well proven method of key exchange by Diffie-Hellman and the worldwide approved AES encryption algorithm. A secure, encrypted connection can be established between two vectroTEL X8 or between a vectroTEL X8 and a vectroTEL S3. This means that the new vectroTEL X8 is fully compatible with the previous vectroTEL S3.
Additional security and integrity is ensured by a calculated HASH checksum that is indicated on the display.
To protect you from misuse by a third party we secured the crypto functions by a user-determined PIN code
The size of the crypto module was reduced to a miniSD card. This means that vectroTEL X8 has a discreet look and is not recognizable as the special cell phone that it is
Security meets the latest technology and design
As up-to-date as the security aspect is the technical and multimedia functionality.
The vectroTEL X8 is a Tri-Band cell phone so it is operational in most every country around the world.
Additional features are: Integrated camera for photos and videos, a brilliant high-resolution display, organizer and address book can be synchronised with MS Out-look or Lotus Notes
All this is embedded in an attractive looking cell phone.
