Palm and Audi Launch Communications Tool

Palm, Inc. and Audi of America, Inc. today announced a Communications Tool for Improved Safety and Convenience on the Road. Using built-in Bluetooth(R) short-range wireless technology and the Palm(R) Treo(TM) 650 smartphone(1), drivers of 2006 Audi A6 and A8 vehicles can make and receive calls(2) totally hands-free using the car's MMI(TM) (Multi Media Interface) console, voice-recognition interface(3) or steering-wheel controls.

IKOO Electric Scooter

The IKOO is a sleek scooter with a powerful EQuake S6 electric motor. This specially selected electric motor is touted to provide optimal balance between speed and range. It is packed with 600W of raw power that generates enough torque to move you quickly with a practical cruising range.

HDMB-1000 Satellite Digital Multimedia Broadcasting system

Hyundai, the car manufacturer has launched the HDMB-1000 a new S-DMB system (Satellite Digital Multimedia Broadcasting). The system can receive TV broadcasts in Mpeg4 AVC/H.264 or MPEG-2 AAC +SBR in a moving vehicle without interruptions. It also features an SD slot for MP3 files.
