Nintendo Revolution Games will be under $50

Nintendo has already vowed its next generation console will be cheaper than its competitors. Now it's making the same promise about its games reports CNN.

Satoru Iwata, president of Nintendo of Japan, has revealed that while the company has no control over what its partners ask for their games, "I cannot imagine any first party title could be priced for more than $50."

Cubed3.com is reporting that Capcom's Resident Evil 5 is in development for the Nintendo Revolution console. So far Capcom nor Nintendo have made their own announcement of a Nintendo Revolution version writes igniq. According to Cubed3 the only reason it hasn't been announced yet is because the specs and other details of the system are still a big secret.

Eiji Aonuma, the director of The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask revealed to the South American official Nintendo mag that he has started work an unnamed next-gen Link game for Nintendo Revolution.

Nintendo Revolution games set to retail at $60

GameStop (Video game retailer) has listed Mario Revolution, Super Smash Bros. Revolution, Zelda Revolution, and Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Revolution for Nintendo Revolution at a retail price of $59.99.


The $60 price tag follows the footsteps of rival Microsoft's Xbox 360 games, all of which have been set at $59.99 reports Punch Jump.


Nintendo has not confirmed the retail pricing of the Revolution or games, but the system is expected to cost less than Xbox 360 and Sony's Playstation 3.
