"Probably the first question people ask when reading this review is whether the Creative Zen Vision:M has a better screen than the video iPod. After all, Mr. Hoo should have already dissected the Apple's, and came up with countermeasures before hitting back. Putting the video iPod next the Zen, the Creative seems to take the lead with the colors on the 2.5â? QVGA screen being very vivid and vibrant. The LCD's contrast is excellent. There's just a bit too much color saturation than necessary, causing some finer details to wash away."

| By Henry Cruz - The fall TV Line up has a few Sci-fi newbies seeking some buzz -- and CBS wants to make sure "Threshold" gets a chance. CBS will offer "three episodes of the rookie suspense drama free and without advertising on http://www.CBS.com." -- I checked out a few of the episodes myself and found it makes the cut (so check it out).
Each episode will be streamed on demand following its airing in the Friday 9 p.m. time slot. At present, the episode "Blood of the Children," which originally aired September 23, is available for viewing on CBS.com through Friday. "Revelations," which airs Friday, will be available for streaming from November 9-11. "Progeny" will follow that same pattern and be available online from November 16-18.
"We think that the traditional network run will always be the primary broadcast, but this is an opportunity to recruit viewers that may not have experienced the show yet or (provide a chance) for those that missed an episode to get caught up," said Chris Ender, senior vp CBS Communications Group.

The future of portable media players could look like the MicroMedia Paper concept by Lunar Design creative force behind some of the top brands like Apple, Sony etc. Expected to hit a store near you in 2015, the MicroMedia Paper is a snapshot-sized, ultra-thin disposable display with new radical GUI that can play music, movies, and more. The Paper will come in a pack of 10 for about $50. Other notable features Ultra-thin power generation technology allows the battery to be contained in a replaceable Power Sticker, Touch-sensitive controls on the front of the Paper allow the user to play, pause, and scroll through media & a graphic equalizer allows adjustment to the sound to match the space and source material. With that said with the recent announcement of color electronic paper by hitachi I think it is safe to say you could expect something like this before 2015, at least in Japan anyway - at the least a paper display that can play media from a transmitter. In 2015 I suspect we will be getting our media via wireless chips implanted in the brain.

The PVPish device key features include a 3.5" screen and iVDR mini drives as storage. In addition to Hitachi trying to one up its competitors this is a good move for fuel cells. I am sure it is safe but alcohol & heat scares me.

| I will admit I am fan of the DVX-POD 7010 personal video player , not because of the specs but because of the look, it looks like the perfect iPod companion. Engadget got their hands on the DVX-POD 7010 and had this to say. Save your money it is a hot mess. I kid you basically the player's screen size & ipodish look are big points. The interface needs work but with a 6.5 screen I am sure you will forget about the interface

Specs Refresh
20GB hard drive, support for playback of DivX, MPEG-4, WMV, and QuickTime video files, 6.5-inch widescreen LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 480.
