GE has, announced the next generation of GE digital cameras for 2008. Nine all-new models will offer an assortment of additional features, including smile detection, blink detection, upgraded lenses, and LCD screens that adjust to changes in ambient light. One new model, the E1050, adds a HDTV, touch-screen and GPS capability.

Samsung has announced GX-20, a new digital SLR. The Samsung GX-20 uses a Samsung-made 14.6-megapixel sensor, arrives in March for $1,400 (body only). Features include "enhanced digital filter," which will "compensate for missing pixels after taking a picture."

Casio has announced the EX-S10 digital camera- the world's thinnest with 10 megapixels of resolution.
Features include a: 2.7-inch LCD; 3X optical zoom; sensitivity up to ISO 1600. available in four colors; and priced at just $250.

Canon the flash memory-based Canon HD HF100 and HF10 Camcorders. The Vixia HF10 and HF100 capture 1080i video to SD or SDHC cards, with the HF10 featuring 16GB of built-in memory (the HF100 is card-only).

V1073 and V1273 are pre-production additions to Kodak's Easyshare camera line on display at Ces 2008.
The V1073 is a 10 megapixels camera while the V1273 has 12 megapixels, 3" LCD display on both.

Sony has announced the DSLR-A200 camera. The DSLR-A200 model features upgrades influenced by the recently-introduced, enthusiast-class DSLR-A700 camera and replaces the former Sony DSLR-A100 model, which was Sony's first in the DSLR class.

Samsung has announced the 8.1 Megapixel NV30 , 10 Megapixel NV40 , 8 Megapixel NV4, and 10 Megapixel NV24HD compact digital cameras available next month at price points of $279 , $329 , $279 and $349 respectively.

Ahead of Ces 2008, Xias has taken the wraps off a number of new products - two digital photo frames, two cameras, USB memory sticks, and an MP3 player reports electronista. The PF-821WF is an eight inch digital frame, PF-1021WF is 10-inches ; both models feature a display resolution of 800 by 600. Up to 12 images can be displayed simultaneously. Seven digital media formats are supported, which can be uploaded to the frames from either of the two bult-in memory card slots. Four different play modes are supported - full-screen browse, slideshow, thumbnail browse, and zoom in/out - while viewing time can be adjusted in both browse and slideshow modes.
