Sony DSC-T3 not shipping in US?

I reported a few days ago the Sony DSC-T3 being available on Amazon for pre-order, well that has changed, the page is no longer on Amazon & rumor has it that the folks here in the old US of A will never see this baby, According DPReview Sony sent them one of their official note thingys saying that the Sony DSC-T3 will not ship in the US this Christmas season, reason being the Sony DSC-T1 is selling like hotcakes.

Canon Powershot SD20
