HORIZON S3pro Panoramic Camera

The HORIZON S3pro is a new camera by Zenit with a rotating non-interchangeable built-in lens, intended for taking various panorama pictures. The lens with high resolution rotates during taking within the pan angle and ensures an excellent quality of image across the whole frame field. It can be used to take various pictures on black-and-white and color 35 mm films.

BenQ's C60, C62, E41, E30, C51

BenQ likes to group it releases, in keeping with that they has announced five new digital cameras, The C60, C62, E41, E30, and C51.

The C60 & C62 are both six megapixel cameras. The C60 has a 2-inch LCD screen, while the C62 has a one second startup time and a shutter release lag time of only 1/100 of a second.

The E41 is a four megapixel camera with a 2-inch LCD touchscreen that you can scribble, the E41 can also be used as a MP3 Player.

The E30 is a 24mm thick three megapixel camera.

The C51 is a five megapixel with a 3x optical zoom lens and a 2-inch LCD screen.

Sanyo Xacti DMX-C4

8 Mega-Pixel Digital Camera Module

Sharp has announced the introduction of a 1/1.8" 8 megapixel CCD with primary color filter and a 9mm diagonal sensor - this will make the "RJ21V3BA0ET" is the highest resolution interline CCD for its size. The "RJ21V3BA0ET" is capable of recording VGA-size, 30fps video and is packaged in a 32-pin Small Outline Package. This CCD will make way for faster production & even smaller devices.

USB-CCD30S

IO-Data has announced he USB-CCD30S a new 0.3 megapixel 0.2" CCD sensor and a 5.5mm F2.0 lens webcam . The USB-CCD30S can read QR Codes using the included "BarCatch Data" application. The maximum frame rate 10 fps with resolution 640 x 480 and 30 fps with resolution 320 x 240. The camera connects via a USB1.1 interface and is bus-powered.

The camera is 60 mm x 39 mm x 62 mm in size and weighs 138 grams.
The USB-CCD30S should be on sale any day now. The retail price will be 9765 yen

Epson R-D1

Epson has announced the R-D1 - the world's first digital rangefinder camera. The Epson R-D1 uses L- and M-mount lenses, which convey the classic feel of a rangefinder and offers a 6.1 megapixel APS C-size CCD sensor with a 1.53 magnification factor for an image resolution up to 3008 x 2000 pixels. The Epson R-D1 supports a RAW mode as well as two JPEG modes.Both JPEG modes incorporate PRINT Image Matching(R) II technology for optimal prints. - shipping begins in the US on November 1 and is expected to cost around $2,999(without lens).( Japan got the R-D1 earlier this year)

Pentax MX4

Hands up man, the MX4 wants to shoot you. The Pentax Optio MX4 is a 4.0 megapixels digital camera with 10x optical zoom - looks like a gun if you run a mile from your computer right ?. The MX4 captures video in the MPEG4 format recorded at 640 by 480 (30 fps), files are stored on Secure Digital card, no internal harddrive like the HD1 mentioned yesterday.
