Apple Sells Two Million Copies of Mac OS X Leopard in First Weekend

Apple has sold over two million copies of Mac OS X Leopard since its release on Friday, far outpacing the first-weekend sales of Mac OS X Tiger, which was previously the most successful OS release in Apple’s history.

250,000 Unlocked iPhones Sold...so far

250,000 unlocked Apple iPhones have been sold.

Mac fans arrived at the number by subtracting the number of iPhones activated on AT&T from the number of iPhones sold total - which is 250k, Gizmodo reports.

Apple Planning iPhone 2 For Macworld San Francisco

According to SMARTOFFICE, Apple is planning version 2 of the iPhone for Macworld San Francisco'

Apple has already spoken to their manufacturing partners in Asia about the next generation of the iPhone with SmartOffice being told that major software and hardware changes are expected to be introduced to cater for non US markets such as Europe, Asia and Australia.

Among the new capabilities will be GPS and expanded WiFi capability as well as the ability to sync with email servers.

PhonebugList has sparked wide spread iPhone mania after the site noticed a reference to iPhone Extreme in the HTML code of Apple’s feedback form.

In one of the HTM form object, there’s a hidden variable called “iPhone Extreme”.

Is this the iPhone with more storage and 3G?
