U2-Edition iPod

Forbes is reporting that U2 has cut a deal with Apple - not Gwyneth Paltrows' baby, I am referring the computer company, so Apple will to sell custom iPods to help the band's forthcoming album. I expect Mariah iPods, Britney iPods, Rupaul iPods, to follow, it can only get better with this CO-branding.

The U2 iPod will come preloaded with the band's new album, How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb, along with portions of their 25-year catalogue. And the best part of this news the U2 iPod will be black (cool - will hide falls so much better), release set for Nov 23 same day as release of the U2 album - MORE

powermacg5.jpg

In other Apple news, a single 1.8GHz CPU & 600 MHz frontside bus version of their Power Mac G5 was also announced for $1,500. The $1500 model is considered a low end model(price)in comparison to the dual 1.8GHz & 900 MHz frontside bus version for $2000. The 1.8GHz CPU adds to their lineup of dual 2.5GHz, dual 2.0GHz, and dual 1.8GHz boxes. So now you can tell everyone you have a Power Mac G5 and get a "really" pause - response - with you knowing that you only paid 1500.- MORE via Apple
