Sony DSC-H50

Sony has launched the 9.0 megapixel Cyber-Shot DSC-H50 , which replaces their DSC-H9 'super zoom' digital camera. The H50 has several improvements over its predecessor, including an ED lens element, user-selectable noise reduction , white balance and color mode bracketing, and an upgraded DRO (Dynamic Range Optimizer) function.

Playstation 3 to sell between 9.5 million and 11.5 million this year?

EA predicts the Playstation 3 will sell between 9.5 million and 11.5 million units this year, compared to 6 million to 8 million for Microsoft's Xbox 360. Europe, will sell 5 million over the 360. EA predicts between 12 million and 14 million in Wii sales.

Sony has announced DSC-T300, a new compact digital camera. Features include a 10.1M CCD sensor and a 3.5-inch touch screen.

Sony has announced DPF-V900, DPF-V700, and DPF-D70 Digital Picture/Photo Frames under their new S-Frame product line . These digital photo frames all have WVGA resolution (800 x 480) and come with 15:9 aspect ratios.

Sony TP home theater PC now with Blu-ray reader

Sony has updated their TP home theater PC to include a Blu-ray reader that can play HD movies at a full 1080p when attached to an HDMI-equipped HDTV or computer display.

The TP home theater PC uses Intel's 45nm Core 2 Duo and runs a 2.1GHz processor. On the premium model, a dual-CableCARD tuner allows it to watch and record cable HD at the same time.
