Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America, Inc. has announced its new multi-dimensional HDTVs for 2008. The new 2008 product highlights include thinner frame and brighter DLP(R) models and Ultra Thin Frame(TM) LCD HDTVs with improved sound capabilities.

Samsung has launched three new TV ranges of Hi-Def televisions. with the ultra-high spec M87 series sitting at the top.
To kick things off, Samsung's M87 LCD TV (available in 37, 40, 46 and 52-inch sizes and a black finish) features a 1920 x 1080 resolution, supports 1080p Hi-Def video through its HDMI and component video sockets.
The R87 series (available in 23, 26, 32, 37 and 40-inch sizes and both black and white finishes), offers lower resolution.
The Q97, a black plasma screen that comes in 42 and 50-inch sizes.

Samsung has announced the 50" SPD-50P91FHD, a new Bluetooth capable HD plasma TV.
Features include a True Black Panel for an improved full HD image, a Cinema Screen Mode that uses proprietary technologies like Ultra DayLight, Natural True Color, and Real motion studio. The SPD-50P91FHD is compatible with other Bluetooth devices such as headsets and photo printers. Samsung SPD-50P91FHD - $4,600.
