Vodafone has anounced the Sharp 904SH , touted as the world's first mobile phone will a full VGA-resolution display, offering 480 x 640 pixels. The 904SH also features a 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera with 2x optical zoom and facial recognition biometric security. Other features of the phone include 3D motion sensor, FeliCa e-money capability, Bluetooth, GPS, and miniSD memory card slot. The 904SH is a WCDMA/GSM phone that will be available in Japan starting in late April.

Panasonic Mobile Communications Co., Ltd. has announced the shipment of "FOMA(R) P901iTV" mobile handsets to NTT DoCoMo, Inc. The P901iTV is NTT DoCoMo's first mobile handset to receive terrestrial digital broadcasting signals in addition to conventional analog signals. The handset was created in response to the planned launch of mobile digital broadcasting in April 2006.
The handset's main display is a 2.5-inch and beautiful wide-view LCD screen. Approximately 3 hours of continuous digital TV viewing is possible. The P901iTV allows users to enjoy services that blend mobile communications and broadcastings. For instance, when you are watching the TV program, you can go to websites related to its TV program simply by clicking the URL shown on the display during the broadcasting.

This week at the 3GSM conference, LG showed off its V9000. The V9000 receives wireless TV signals (using the DMB-T transmission system) on its 256K color display. Additionally, the V9000 sports a 1.3 Megapixel camera with 30 MB of onboard memory. Battery life three hours while playing TV.

Sony Ericsson has unveiled two mobile phones at the 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona – the 3G K610 and the entry-level J100.
K610 – a bar-designed tri-band GSM/GPRS (900/1800/1900)/UMTS (2100) phone. It is 17mm thick and weighs 92 grams. The device will be available in two colors - Evening Red and Urban Silver and is expected to be released in the second quarter of 2006. The main features are:
