SPH-V6500 and SCH-V650

Samsung has announced the SPH-V6500 and SCH-V650, two "file-viewing" (PDF, Word, Excel, etc) mobile phones. A remote control function provides universal control of home appliances including the air conditioner, PC, game console, TV, DVD, VCR and even the automobile. Nokia 6680 3G EDGE enabled camera phone shipping

Nokia has started shipping their 6680 3G EDGE enabled camera phone to Europe, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific.

The 6680 features dual cameras, one for video conferencing, and the other that produces 1.3 megapixel still images. The handset will also include a MP3 player with 10MB built in memory with an expandable MMC card slot. More







Siemens SP65 Business Phone

Siemens has announced the SP65, a new high-end business class handset. The SP65 tri-band phone features Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, extended PIM (personal information management) software, built in MMC card slot. In addition, the phone also features Bluetooth wireless, a large 260,000 color TFT screen, 5 hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby.

The HBH-300 isn't a cheap BT headset and opening the box isn't a cheap experience either, the headset itself is well built and is a boom style unit. The advantage of this kind of device is everyone will know what it is rather than thinking you've got some weird alien implant stapled to your head. Also tucked in the box is a charging stand a welcome addition for anyone who normally leaves their headset charging on a table or kitchen worktop, the charger is in two pieces the stand and the cradle itself, the holder slides neatly into the stand until it clicks making a sturdy base.

Four new CDMA Phones from Kyocera

Kyocera has announced four new CDMA phones ; two clamshells, one slider, and one candy bar style reports MobileMag. .

TheSlider Remix KX5, features a 1.3 megapixel camera with flash and 5x digital zoom, TransFlash slot, an MP3 player, 16MB of onboard user memory and 262k color 176 x 220 screen.

The Kyocera KX9 clamshell phone features dual displays, speakerphone, BREW support, Enhanced Messaging Services (EMS), and a WAP browser.

The Kyocera Topaz KX7 & Kyocera Prisma KX17 are basically the same phone with different designs. The KX7 features a clamshell design and the Kx17 a candy bar with integrated antenna. Both feature a speakerphone, polyphonic ring tones, wallpapers, screensavers and games. 3rd quarter of 2005.

The Nokia 2115i AKA the "salary-cap champ" features a built in flashlight, voice dialing with speakerphone, and a candy bar design. The handset should hit the stores during the second quarter of 2005.

The Nokia 3155 clamshell designed phone features dual displays, 12 MB built in user memory, MP3 ring tones, FM radio, built in voice functionality with speakerphone and voice dialing. 3155 available third quarter of 2005.

The Nokia 6155 clamshell phone features a 1 Megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom, LED flash, with video recording and playback at 15 frames per second. Also featured; dual TFT color screens with a 262K main display and voice command functionality.

Sprint PCS has announced the addition of the LG MM-535 slider phone to their lineup. The MM-535 features a 1.3 Megapixel camera with led flash, 20 MB built in memory, streaming video, a SD card slot for expansion and a MP3 player with stereo sound.
