The N900iL is a new a 802.11b /W-CDMA handset from DoCoMo combining 3G and IP telephony capability. The N900iL is now shipping in Japan priced between 40,000 and 50,000 yen. Announced in July 2004 , features of the new handset include 320 x 240 pixel 16-bit color TFT display as well as a small external color STN display for caller ID, 2 megapixel digital camera, miniSD slot, dual-network support - The NEC 900iL includes a new "Passage Duple" system designed to switch between acting as a 3G FOMA handset or a Voice-over-IP (VoIP) phone while connected to an 802.11b Wi-Fi network. The NEC 900iL also supports instant messaging between N99iL handsets on a Wi-Fi network.

Samsung ( Creator of that 5 Megapixel camera phone) said that it has developed the first all-angle three-dimensional (3D) display panel for mobile phones. - I believe them. The company plans to start supplying the new 3D displays for mobile phone makers in the the first half of next year.

The folks at theregister.co.uk spent some time with the Mio 8390, a new tri-band GSM/GPRS Windows Mobile 2003-powered Smartphone from Mitac. Features of the Mi0 8390 include a 2.2-inch 176x220 display, Intel's 200MHz XScale processor, a VGA digital camera, 28MB of available user memory, and an SD memory card slot.

Motorola, Bloomingdale's and Pininfarina – announced the availability of the Pininfarina Limited Edition Motorola i833 mobile phone.
Based on the Motorola i830 handset, the Pininfarina Limited Edition Motorola i833 mobile phone has a titanium-colored finish and a sleek shape inspired by the lines of a Ferrari 360 Modena. The car-like housing of the handset also features a translucent internal lens that gives users a peek into the 'hood" of the phone, a gas tank-shaped audio jack cover and grill-like bottom connector cover.
