Motorola RAZR V3 really hot

If you have not heard the Motorola RAZR V3 is like really hot, Paris Hilton hot people and to solidify this hotness Hip Hop mogul Russell Simmons said it was "hot".

The ($799 ($499 with 2 year plan)) Razr V3 is a mere 0.54 inches thick when folded, features include bright thin-film transistor screen, quad-band GSM for jet setters, a camera, MPEG4 video playback, Bluetooth wireless, Java games, a Web browser and a speaker for MP3 audio and polyphonic ring tones.

BenQ's P30 smartphone

The BenQ P50 has been making news lately as a good contender to console your treo 650 pain, the P50 which is due out in March has built-in WiFi and a 1.3 megapixel camera, both treo 650 weak points, if you are a BenQ fan, they new smartphone to hold you over until the P50 is released. The BenQ P30 is a tri-band GSM/GPRS cellphone which runs on Symbian UIQ. Other features include 2.66-inch, 262,000 color LCD touchscreen, Bluetooth, a built-in VGA quality digital camera that can record video clips, an SD memory card slot, Opera's mobile browser preinstalled.

Jabra has announced the BT800, a Bluetooth-enabled earpiece with a 21x64 pixel LCD display, 5 ringtones, a vibrating mode, noise cancellation, 6 hrs. talk time/125 hours standby, charging via both USB and AC power. Expected around January 2005.

Motorola car controller prototype

Motorola is a showing off a Body Control prototype which lets you control certain functions of your car with from cellphone -- no you cannot use it to reverse your car or have it come pick you up out of the rain, you can however control the heat & air condition, just imagine being able to heat up your car after a night of snow, so when you get in its all nice & warm. I am way into that, you can control lights, check fuel levels, locks, windshield wash and wiper controls .

Sprint to allow Bluetooth with Treo 650

Sprint has announced that it will allow bluetooth connectivity for laptop Internet access with the Treo 650 squashing rumors of Bluetooth being disabled. This will be made possible with an upgrade patch after launch (patch still being tested). Sprint said that is was in their plans from the start, however I am with Gizmodo on this one I am sure the backlash made them change there mind.

Panasonic Z800 UMTS Phone

Panasonic has unveiled a prototype for their first UMTS(Universal Mobile Telecommunications System) phone. The Panasonic Z800 features a 1.3 megapixel CCD outer camera and a smaller 110K pixel inner camera for video communications.
