According to the the German website Initiative-Brennstoffzelle Nokia Employees have been risking their livestesting Bluetooth Headsets, which are powered by a gas cell. The 66-mwatt fuel cells are using fluid methanol. With one filling the set can operate for 10 hours.

European plane maker Airbus has reported progress in plans to allow passengers to use mobile phones while in flight with a target date of 2006.

Test equipment aboard a plane demonstrated that mobile phones can be used without interfering with navigation systems.

The France-based company said mobile phones onboard were used to send and receive calls, while mobiles and fixed telephones were used on the ground for the test - MORE via PCworld

This phones featuring integrated VGA cameras, users can easily snap a picture, 'tag' a message by writing or drawing directly on the touch screen, and send it in just a few seconds. According to PalmInfoCenter Group Sense limited announced the specifications & image of its new smartphone The GSL Xplorer M28 at a Hong Kong Palm User Group meeting.

The Xplorer M28 features a 2.2 inch 260k color TFT display, with a 176x220 pixel resolution. It runs Palm OS Garnet 5.4 on an undisclosed ARM processor. The phone will include 32MB of RAM, as well as an SDIO expansion slot. It also includes mp3 audio support and a 300k digital camera .- MORE

Siemens has announced the SF65 mobile phone with a 1.3 megapixel camera, flash and 4x zoom. The swivel style top end has a 16-bit internal color display with a resolution of 128 x 160 pixels, and on the flip side the camera lens.

The SF65 will support any dual-band GSM 900/1800MHz network, GPRS Class 10 and IRDA. SMS, EMS, MMS and POP3 work with this system. The SF65 can store about 18mb of images on the internal drive.- MORE va Mobile Mag

T Mobile has announced it's new smart phone designed with digital music play back in mind. It has 64MB of ROM and 32mb of RAM. The SDA Music handset is based on Windows Mobile 2003, and features a 176 x 220, 65,000-color display, VGA digicam, tri-band GSM/GPRS radio. It provides USB and Bluetooth connectivity.

The handset supports: MP3, WMA, WAV, AMR-NB, Midi and SP-Midi playback software.

The phone measures 10.8 x 4.7 x 2cm and weighs 100g, it will be available in Germany in november, As yet there's no word on availability outside Germany. - via theregister.co.uk

PMG will allow the ogo to connect wirelessly to other PMG devices nearby, such as cameras, watches, digital pens, and gaming devices.
