In a perfect world, all gadgets would look and be as affordable as Peek, a to the point email tool. The sleek wireless device offering email on the go runs on T-mobile's network for $19.95 monthly. Peek doesn't require any contracts or service agreements and there are no limits, or caps.
I am quite taken with the visual of Peek, its a pretty tool , but the one function took some use getting to. I think of how my mom always tells me she wants to email but needs to take a computer course first. I look at Peek , the genius is more apparent. A simple , no fuss tool to stay connected.
After you charge your Peek the first time, you turn it on from top right side. A tutorial screen loads, you can skip that . You setup your first account and you are ready to go.
The Peek features a well-spaced QWERTY - rubberized keyboard , a simple user interface and an easy-to-use jog dial.
On the down side, there is no email sort tool or spam filter. For me a multiple email user it would be good to have an option . But this could be easily remedied with a software upgrade. Peek is relatively new and from the looks of messages on forums the support team is listening to the feedback from users.
