The world's numero uno system; The Wii along with the Playstation3 are the hottest systems in Japan, Well, Micorsoft is trying to go down with a fight and revive the slumped sales if the Xbox 360 in the Asian Country.

Apparently there were rumors that Micorosoft, is trying to get Square Enix to give them exclusive rights to Final Fantasy. So all those people with reservations about the system in Japan would be forced to fork over the money and abandon their own systems. Unfortunately that would be an expensive and uncertain venture that might send them belly up. Microsoft's Shane Kim answered some of those rumors:

"I know we're talking about Final Fantasy here, but you really have to question, is it really enough to overcome people's reservations about Xbox 360 in Japan? I don't know. But I know that it would have to be a heck of a lot of money and it would be very risky to do that."

Well, I guess that means no, for now. And that since Xbox is huge on the west side of the planet, that game developers should be open to future ventures with the 360. I know one day, if desperate times call for desperate measures...
