Toshiba has announced the Qosmio G45-AV690, the world's first notebook to feature a HD-DVD-R/RW optical drive.

The Qosmio G45 features a NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics with 512MB GDDR2

Processor: Intel Core2Duo T9300 processor, 2.5GHz, 6MB L2 cache, 800MHz FSB
Memory: 3GB of PC2-5300 DDR2 with support for up to 4GB
Storage: 320GB via two SATA HDDs running at 5400rpm
Optical Drive: HD DVD-R/RW (Single Layer)/DVD SuperMulti (+/- double layer) drive (in one optical drive) supporting 14 formats
