July 23, 2007 Velocity Micro Prepares Windows Home Server Gossip Velocity Micro Prepares Windows Home Server Velocity Micro has revealed guarded details on Microsoft's Windows Home Server The network media hub based on Windows Home Server system, or WHS features Intel chipset, DDR2 memory plus a Conroe-based processor, Intel chipset with PCI Express-based Gigabit Ethernet and SATA 3.0Gbps are inside the WHS system. The WHS system will have build-to-order options with varying storage capacities, up to several terabytes of storage. The system will also have an eSATA port for external storage expansion.
