Sony has announced the DAV-IS10 , a new Theatre system addition to their "Bravia" line.
The 5.1 channel "Bravia" Theatre DAV-IS10 features BRAVIA Theatre Sync technology for one touch operation with BRAVIA TVs, hooks up with your Walkman, mobile phone or home network , combines DVD/CD/MP3 player with surround processing and an RDS FM/AM radio tuner.
Sony "BRAVIA" Theatre DAV-IS10 incorporates Digital Cinema Auto Calibration for fast, simple, automatic multi-channel surround sound setup.
Other eminent features include:
- Two Digital Media Ports compatible with MP3 players, including the Network WALKMAN.
- TDM-BT1 streams music via Bluetooth from devices such as A2DP 'music phones'
- TDM-NC1 hooks into your home WiFi network and streams music from a VAIO laptop or other computers."
- Portable Audio Enhancer, which applies sophisticated digital signal processing to expand the sound of compressed music from portable players.
- DAV-IS10 is capable of up scaling standard-definition signals from a DVD and outputting them in this enhanced form via the HDMI connection to your TV
The Sony DAV-IS10 will be available from September, no word on pricing.
