"The Father of PlayStation," Ken Kutaragi, has sparked rumors that the the Playstation 4 , 5 and 7 will be disc-less machines that download games, movies and other entertainment content directly from web-based stores like the PlayStation Network. Tech gossips jumped to the conclusion after a statement by Ken Kutaragi. "As a matter of course, I have the vision of PlayStation 4, 5 and 6," he told EE Times, going on to say that these will "merge with the network" Sony has previously suggested that the PS3 will have a ten-year lifespan.
