Apple iPhone rumor heats up

Analyst firm, Visiongain, has prompted renewed excitement over much-anticipated iPhone, after the company said that Apple might team up with mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) Helio and release the iPhone in conjunction with Helio's US launch.

Helio, the $440 million venture between Earthlink and Korean based SK Telecom, will launch with two handsets, the Hero made by Pantech and the Kickflick by VK Mobile.

Pam Duffey an analyst at Visiongain speculated that: 'There exists a relationship between Apple and Helio management that goes back to the ROKR iTunes phone, and Helio has declared a target audience identical to iPod's existing market.'
