Karl Lagerfeld-Inspired Xbox Plates

To celebrate the release of Microsoft's new gaming system, the Xbox 360, Paris-based concept shop Colette enlisted Karl Lagerfeld and a few other local designers to put their own twist on the gadget. Sonia Rykiel's interpretations sport stripe-adorned figures ripped from the Rykiel Homme runway. Andrée Putman, credited with conceiving and designing the first boutique hotel, encases hers in sleek chrome, and Irina Volkonski and DJ Pedro Winter contributed pink polka-dotted and chartreuse-sequined versions, respectively.

The units are on display at Colette through Sunday, Dec. 11, after which they'll be available for purchase (prices: Andre, €350; Lagerfeld, €1,000; Putman, €1,000; Rykiel
