Oslo based Asono has announced the DAB1, a new digital radio .

* DAB (band III & L-band)
* FM radio (RDS)
* MP3 player (MP3 & WMA DRM)
* Functions; record, rewind, pause, program and many more
* EPG (electronic program guide)
* Alarm
* Run on both replaceable batteries and AC-adaptor
* Connections; Aux/Line in, line out, headphone, wireless speaker, mini-USB Host, SD card slot & AC/DC.
* High quality speaker elements by SEAS
* Display can be rotated, so the unit can be used both standing and laying.
* Measures: Height: 19,5cm Depth: 6,4cm Width: 13,5cm
* Retail price NOK 1995,- including taxes, around EUR 200 excluding taxes.

Asono DAB1 is comes in white and black, with possibility of future special editions. Asono DAB1 will be available from leading department stores by the end of January 2006.
