At this year's Tokyo Motor Show, Nissan showed off the Pivo concept car. The Pivo features a microscopic machine's passenger cab that can swivel a full 360 degrees, effectively changing the direction of travel in a matter of seconds. Designed as a showcase of drive-by-wire technologies, the high-tech interior also shares components with the new Amenio concept, a next-generation people carrier that continues the trend for ultra-glazed vehicles and spacious, living room-like accommodation. These features are supported by Nissan’s innovative environment-friendly technologies such as the Compact Lithium-ion Battery.
