b&o3.jpgUber Danish electronics company Bang & Olufsen has offically announced the BeoSound 3, a new sleek transistor radio/ portable music system / alarm clock.

Available for $850 at Bang & Olufsen stores and at www.bang-olufsen.com, the BeoSound has an FM radio or plays MP3 and WMA music files from SD memory cards recorded by computers or other devices.

The full-range speaker has a sealed cabinet for better bass and equalization to smooth and clarify its sound.

The battery lasts 10 hours before needing recharging reports New York Times
