Sony Japan has announced the "VAIO type H" and the "VAIO type M" desktop PCs, set for launch from September 10th.

The 'VAIO type M' features a 1,280x800 dot resolution 15.4" wide liquid crystal, somatotype keyboard in orange Passion orange , the superior model "VGC-M53B/W" features a TV tuner, Celeron 2.80GHz and SiS 661FX chip set (video functional built-in), memory 512MB and 250GB HDD, +R DL DVD super multiple drive.

The VAIO type H features include a FeliCa reader, superior model "VGC-H71B2R" features a Pentium D 820 (2.8GHz) processor, 1,680x1,050 dot (WSXGA+) resolution 20" wide clearing black liquid crystal display, P-in-P (Picture-in-Picture) or P-out-P (Picture-out-Picture) , 512MB Memory, Intel 945G Express chip set (video functional built-in), 300GB HDD, and double TV tuner
