Fujitsu "F700iS," and FOMA "SH700iS.

NTT DoCoMo, Japan introduced two new FOMA handsets today - the Fujitsu "F700iS," and the FOMA "SH700iS.


The Fujitsu "F700iS," which supports Plus Area, will be released o­n July 21st.

The main feature is support for "FOMA Area Plus," which takes advantage of the 800MHz band, increasing service area in mountainous regions.

Other features 1.28MP CMOS type camera, and included software allows music files to be easily loaded o­nto a miniSD card for playback o­n the handset.


The FOMA "SH700iS." features a 2.2 inch "CG Silicon LCD," which when compared to the previous SH700i, has 40% more brightness. It likewise supports the "FOMA Plus Area" through the 800MHz band, helping out with reception in mountainous areas.

Other features include a "10 degree Slant Camera,"and a "Movie-only Button" allowing for o­ne-button recording of movies.
