Volvo 3CC

Volvo's 3CC is the latest in a long line of innovative concept cars, all of which have originated in the company's California design lab. The ultra-compact 3CC showcases yet another innovation from a company famous for its safety technology. 'Safety Ride Down' is a system that minimises G-forces in the event of an impact by allowing all the seats up to 20cm of forward travel, dramatically reducing the forces that wreak havoc on the human body.

This 'moving interior' also eases entry and exit – a button on the door slides all the seats forward. There's also Volvo CoDriver, an 'intelligent assistant' that monitors traffic information and the movement of surrounding vehicles. WallPaper
