SONY, Japan has announced the addition of two new models to their XYZ car navigation series, the NV-XYZ777 and NV-XYZ777EX. Both models run on LINUX and display the majority of Tokyo's streets in 3D. Features include 30GB HDD with onboard AV Nabi system , 6.5" WVGA screen, and can be connected to PC via USB 2.0.

The HDD AV Nabi system with 30GB HDD can connect with your PC, you can customize maps and music images. The "NV-XYZ777" will be available on June 10th for 220,500 Yen, while the 252,000 Yen "NV-XYZ777EX" will be available July 7th

The HDD core unit section features one-touch for easy removal, image data (MPEG-1/2/4), voice data (ATRAC3/ATRAC3plus/MP3), still picture data (JPEG/BMP/TIFF/PNG/GIF) support, unit can also play back animated picture and voice data. The unit also features support for the "memory stick video format" (MP4 conformity) used on PSP and PSX
