My Web 'beta'

News Room

Wednesday, Internet media giant Yahoo Inc injected their News site with a stylish new look and features to help users go deeper into subjects and to personalize headlines. The most visited online news site in the United States is aiming for a "cleaner" and more organized delivery of headlines and news content, Yahoo said.

The redesigned site also includes Yahoo's YQ search technology that enables users to pull up search results related to key phrases or names in stories -- without leaving the page.

Users of the new site also can add RSS feeds. In cases where the RSS provider is not a Yahoo partner, users will be redirected off Yahoo News.

Yahoo also introduced the new service, My Web, a social bookmarks manager, clipping service and blogging tool wrapped into one. Users can save a copy of any Web page in a storage area and find that page instantly by searching My Web. The pages can then be categorized and shared with others.

Last week Google introduced a service for its registered users that automatically keeps track of all Web searches, remembering every query in a clever calendar system reports New York Times. My Search History (Beta)
