Kana M-bird

Green House has announced the "Kana M-bird," a portable audio player with built in speaker set for release in Japan, late March. The estimated price is 23,800 yen. Black, White, and Red body colors will be available.

The Kana M-bird has a 200mW speaker o­n the body for listening to audio without use of earphones. It has a 512MB flash memory capacity, FM tuner and mic, voice recorder function provides up to 73 hours of recording time, can record directly to MP3 from the line-in jack, 20 x 22mm size LCD which allows for selection of 10 backlight colors and can playback MP3, WMA and OGG format files.

The interface is USB 2.0, supported under Windows 98 SE, ME, 2000, and XP.

Power is supplied by a lithium ion battery providing roughly 15 hours of playback time when using headphones. Measures 66.8 x 38.6 x 18.7mm (W x D x H), and it weighs 53g. TechJapan.
