Ask Jeeves acquires Bloglines?

According to Mary Hodder, who runs the blog Napsterization.org, Ask Jeeves apparently has just bought Bloglines. Just in case you are not hip to bloglines.com, it is an online service for searching, subscribing, creating and sharing news feeds, blogs and rich web content. BusinessWeek believes this is a smart move on the part of Ask Jeeves, who is trying to compete with Google and Yahoo - so why buy bloglines - because Blogs are like so hot (my 1 cents), Google has Blogger & Yahoo Japan recently launched a blog system.
