Corega, Japan, has announced the "CG-PMPPOD" a new HDD portable videoplayer. The "CG-PMPPOD" features a 7" TFT liquid crystal panel - resolution 720x480 dot, 1.8 inches 20GB HDD, supports WMV9 (352x288 dot /30fps), Quick Time 6 (640x480 dot /30fps), DivX 4.x/5.1/5.2 (720x480 dot /30fps), DivX 3.11 (352x288 dot /30fps) video formats, AV output (composite/analog sound), supports video output from HDD - television, sound recording in MP3 , voice recorder, supporting playback of MP3/WMA music formats, JPEG , BMP (largest 1,500x1,200 dot), GIF ( 800x600 dot) image support - file size must be 16mb or less and USB 2.0 interface. Continual playback time, with playback of video approximately 3 hours, approximately 12 hours sound only

Measures 115x192x28mm and weighs approximately 570g. Available in Japan on February 15th. 59,800 Yen.
